Loretta was born in 1936. She was the daughter of Clyde Hornberger and Pearle Gross. She passed away in 2017.

Loretta Margaret Wilt, 81, of Middleburg, passed away on Dec. 26, 2017, at 3:59 a.m. at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Loretta was born June 14, 1936, in Beaver Springs, a daughter of the late Clyde W. and Pearle M. Hornberger (Gross), of Middleburg. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William P. "Bill" Krohn in 1984 after 31 years of marriage, and then by her second husband, Eugene Wilt in 1996 after 10 years of marriage. Loretta attended Middleburg Joint High School. Early in life she was employed as a waitress, then an employment counselor at Snelling and Snelling and then worked at Middleswarth Chip Factory in Middleburg. She leaves behind her best friend and daughter with whom she lived, Debra Brennan (Rodger), of Middleburg; one son, William Krohn (Karen); two grandchildren, Rodger C. Brennan (Nicole), of Selinsgrove and Amanda E. Henry, of Harrisburg; great-grandchildren, Kimmy Henry and her significant other, Zach White, of Middletown, Dylan Henry, of Hummelstown and Stephanie Rarig, of Selinsgrove; her cousins, Jeanne Aucker (Larry), of Kratzerville and Bob Hornberger (Carolyn), of Middleburg; her sister-in-law, Betty Cawley, of York; brothers-in-law, Dick Krohn (Elaine), of Middleburg and Jack Krohn (Shirley), of Texas; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, George Cawley; cousin, Phyllis Erdley; and best friend, Susan Nailor. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg. Burial in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Loretta's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. Greater PA, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
