George Ransom (3), who was born about 1848 in Hastings, Sussex, England, as the son of John Ransom (abt.1825-abt.1877) and Emily (no maiden name) and Ransom, was living with his parents and a sister, Annah Maria (Ransom) Harris (1846-abt.1924) (4) in Brighton, Sussex, England in 1851.^[1]

In 1851, parents, John Ransom (25) and Emily (maiden name not provided) are living on Railway Street in Brighton, Sussex, England with two known children - Annah Maria (Ransom) Harris (1846-abt.1924) (4) and George(3). Anna M was born in Bexhill, Sussex and George in Hastings, Sussex.^[2]
