Frederick was born in 1757, in Albany, New York and baptized on November 15, 1760 in Albany. His father was Christian Keller and mother Elisabeth Baches (or Backus?).
He was a Revolutionary War Veteran - discharged on January 1, 1778, at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. [1][2]
He married Elizabeth Peter (daughter of Jacob and Barbara Peter) on July 27, 1783.
