Biography

Randall was born in 1912 in Pool's Cove, Newfoundland. He was the son of Willliam George Welsh and Caroline Brown. He served in the Canadian Navy during the Second World War and later went salt fishing out of Riverport and Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Then worked on oil tanker and Department of Transport ships. He married Beatrice Evans at Rose Bay, Lunenburg County NS on February 28, 1933.^[1] Beatrice passed away in 1982 after which Randall married Alma (Rhodenizer) Colp, also a widow. He had lived in East LaHave, Lunenburg County but lived in Lower Sackville NS when he passed away on February 4, 2005. He is buried in Harbour View Cemetery, Rose Bay NS.^[2]
