Biography
John was born in 1866. He passed away in 1939.
Balsdon was born in Exeter, Ont, Can., Feb 23, 1866. In 1886 he took up a homestead in North Dakota and in 1891 was married to Lydia Livingood. To this union were born nine children. Mrs. Balsdon passed away in 1909 and later he was married to Sarah Schroder. To this union were born three children. He moved to Cashmere in 1921 and had been active in orchard work since that time having a home west of town.
