Biography

David Dietrich was born in June 1944. His parents were John Klingman Dietrich (1917-1999) and Florence Catherine Snyder (1925-2006). He grew up on the family farm in Buffalo Township, Union, Pennsylvania.^[1] He graduated from the Vocational Agriculture program at Mifflinburg High School in 1962.^[2]

Dave married Barbara Jean Leitzel (1948-2012) on 27 August 1996 in New Berlin Church, New Berlin, Union County. They had two sons and two daughters.^[3]

He was a farmer throughout his life. But he also worked as a technician for Curtis Breeding Service as well as 7 years at Lewisburg Builders Supply Company.^[4]

Dave was very active in his community:^[4] He was buried with Barbara in Guier Cemetery, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.^[5]
