Biography
Martha Booz was born on February 24, 1806 in Woodford, Kentucky[1] to William Booz and Mary Ware.
On November 30, 1825, Martha married George Dale in Woodford County, Kentucky.[2]
According to the 1850 census, Martha lived with George and their children, William, James, Nancy, Margaret, Emeline, and John, in Hancock County, Illinois.[3]
According to the 1880 census, Martha lived with her daughter Emeline and her family in Carthage, Illinois.[4]
Martha died on February 12, 1881 in Carthage, Illinois.[1]
She is buried in the Pickens Cemetery in Hancock County, Illinois.[1][5]
