Note: Although she was born 22 Sep 1894, the birth was not registered until 22 Feb 1895. A remark on the registration states: "Unable to report earlier on account of infrequency of mails", which is eminently believable of the Queen Charlotte Islands of this period.
Note: She was engaged, but broke off the engagement when her fiancée made another woman pregnant.
