Biography

Margaret Charnock, was the d. & h. of Robert Charnock of Charnock, co. Lancs. (d. 1653). She married Richard Brooke of Astley Hall in 1665/6.^[1] He was the second son of Sir Peter Brooke of Mere, co. Chester, MP for Cheshire in 1567.^[2]

Margaret and Richard are the parents of:

• Peter of Astley Hall
• Thomas of Gray's Inn and Wilmslow.^[3]
