Biography
Lawrence was born in Dublin and moved with his parents to England. He married a Welsh girl and they settled in Lancashire. Lawrence worked for years on ocean liners as a seaman and steward. He died in 1893 while working on the White Star Steamer Naronic which was lost at sea in February of 1893.[1]
