CAVANAUGH, MR. JAMES PATRICK - age 70, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6[2], at St. Mary's Hospice after a long illness.
He was born in Wilmington, Del., but had resided in Knoxville for 38 years.
He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, and a retired electrical engineer, having been employed by Raytheon.
Mr. Cavanaugh was a US Air Force Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores; children and spouses, daughter Barabara and Don, son Owen and Susan, Son Gene and daughter Jane and Dana; 11 grandchildren,; brothers, Robert J. Cavanaugh,Richard F. and wife Anne Cavanaugh; and a devoted niece, Kristin Jarman, all of Kinston, NC; also very special friends Joan and Al Stringham of Spring Hill, Fla.
The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Mary's Hospice and to extend sincere appreciation to Dr. Jack Benhayon for many years of kindness and caring.[3]
He is interred in the Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee, USA[4]
