Succeeded his 1st cousin once removed William Wentworth to the titles in 1791.
Last heir male of the 1st Baronet.
Research Notes
Great-nephew of the 1st Earl (of the current creation), who in turn was the great-nephew of the 1st Earl (of the 1st creation). So got the earldom by virtue of one special remainder and the barony by virtue of another.
But he didn't get the money.
