Felicia Friia (this surname appears elsewhere as Frija or Fruja) is born in Corleone around 1785-89, based on her reported ages in 1811 and at her death in 1817. Felicia is the daughter of Paolo Friia and Rosa (or Rosalia) Piranio.
Felicia marries Antonino Giordano on 1 December 1804. Paolo and Rosa are still living.
Children
Felicia and Antonino have at least six children: Giuseppa Maria (1806), Biagio (1807), Gaetano (1809), Caterina (1812), Rosalia (1813), and Giuseppa (1816).
Giuseppa Maria is born and baptized 6 March 1806, named after her paternal grandmother. Her godparents are Pietro and Salvatrice di Puma, a married couple.
Biagio is born and baptized on 19 April 1807. His godparents are Don Carlo and Donna Bernarda Bagnara, a married couple.
Gaetano is born and baptized on 12 December 1809, named after his paternal grandfather. His godparents are Maestro Paolo and Angela Palazzo.
In 1811 Felicia, 26 (b. 1785), Antonino, 27 (b. 1784), and children Biagio, 4 (b. 1807), and Gaetano, 2 (b. 1809), live on the strada Grande, next door to Bernardo Oliveri. Giuseppa does not appear in the 1811 census, indicating she has died by this time.
Caterina is born and baptized 8 August 1812. Her godparents are Bernardo and Caterina Oliveri, the married couple next door. She dies on 21 August 1812 at thirteen days of age.
Rosalia is born and baptized 30 August 1813. Her godparents are Vincenzo Mannina and Caterina Oliveri, wife of Bernardo.
The second Giuseppa is born and baptized 3 May 1816. Her godparents are Rosario and Giovanna Raja, son and mother.
Felicia dies suddenly at around age 28 (b. 1789) on 20 July 1817. Her parents have both died by this time.
Two weeks later, her youngest daughter, Giuseppa, dies at nine months of age.
Gaetano marries Maria Concetta di Puma on 29 July 1832. His father is still living.
Rosalia marries Antonino Palazzo on 21 July 1833.
Felicia's widower, Antonino, dies at age 52 (b. 1785) on 2 August 1837, during the first recorded cholera outbreak in western Europe. He is survived by his second wife.
Biagio dies at age 48 on 31 May 1855. He is survived by his wife.
Rosalia dies at age 82 (b. 30 Aug 1813) on 31 May 1896. She is the widow of Antonino, to whom she was married for about forty years, but he is not mentioned in Rosalia's death record.
