Cyrus W. HUFF (8 May 1812 Harrison Co, OH - 20 Mar 1882 Minnetrista twp, Hennepin Co, MN) was a farmer and carpenter who moved westward.

A Justice of the Peace married Cyrus on 5 Nov 1835 in Guernsey County, OH, to (1) Mary ASHER^[1] (1813 OH - 1850/1860 OH), and their ch were:

1. Evalinah HUFF (20 Jul 1836 Brookfield, Morgan Co, OH - 9 Feb 1909 Ukiah, Mendocino, CA), on 15 Apr 1858 in Caldwell, Noble Co, OH, md Thomas ERSKINE (27 Mar 1836 Spencer, Noble Co, OH - 8 May 1904 Menomonie, Dunn Co, WI, bur Evergreen Cem), son of David and Jane (WAKEFIELD) ERSKINE, and their ERSKINE ch were Cyrus Melvin; Frances Wilda; Mary Jane; Charles Clarence; and Florence Lillian.
2. John Milton HUFF (12 Oct 1839 Brookfield, Morgan Co, OH - 16 Nov 1926 Mound, Hennepin Co, MN) on 24 Apr 1861 in McArthur, Vinton Co, OH, md Catharine Jane MCCLANAHAN (1825 OH - ), and their ch were: Meriane A. 1. Nathaniel HUFF (Oct 1857 Vinton Co, OH - ) in 1880 md Elizabeth ??? (May 1862 England - ), of English parents who had come to the U. S. in 1875. Their ch incl Oliver HUFF; Elmer HUFF; Lillie HUFF; Maida HUFF; and Melvin HUFF by 1900. They lived in Minnetrista twp, Hennepin Co, MN. By 1920, they lived in Minnetonka twp.
