Wikipedia lists William Fisher Packer's mother as "Charity" and several sources on Ancestry list her LNAB as Bye

The index of U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900 lists a marriage between James Packer and Charity Bye in 1803

James and Charity appear together in Quaker meeting records. But the record adds confusion, and suggests that Charity Bye might be James's mother rather than his spouse.
