Biography
Maria Anna Ciavarello (her given name is also rendered "Marianna") is born and baptized 22 July 1778 in Corleone. She is the daughter of Gaspare Ciavarello and Gaetana Ligutino. Her godparents are Don Michaele and Donna Maria Anna Sabatino, a married couple.[1]
Marianna marries Nicolo' Battice' (also spelled Buttice' in the same record), from [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raffadali Raffadali (Terra Raphaudalis), the son of the late Onofrio Buttice' and Gioachina (whose last name is obscured), on 30 April 1810. By this time, Gaspare has died, and Gaetana is still living.[2]
Marianna dies in the hospital at age 55 (she is 70) on 8 February 1849. Her late husband is called Nicolo' Bottiglieri in this record.[3]
