Biography

Aaron Abbot was born on 17 Feb 1732/3 ^{[1] [2]}in Andover, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of Thomas Abbot Jr. (1699 - 1774) and Elizabeth (Ballard) Abbott (1701 - 1782).

Aaron (~45) married Lydia Abbott (~41) , daughter of Edward Abbot and Dorcas Chandler, in 1778 ^{[citation needed]} in Andover. Their children were:

• Anomalies:
  • If Lydia married Mr. Farnum (Farnam, Farnham) in 1756, he MAY have died prior to her marriage to Aaron Libby. If not, then we need to keep searching to make sure we have the right people.
  • If Lydia married Aaron in 1758, then his first three (known) children are probably not hers, strongly suggesting an earlier marriage to someone else.
