Biography

Rosa Abruzzo was born in the mid 1700s, probably before 1775 ^[1]. She married Ignazio Maggio ^[2] and they had at least a few children. She died before 29 Jan 1865 ^[3].

The name Maria Rosa is seen in the 1868 death record for daughter Giuseppa, but she otherwise went by the name Rosa.

Research Notes

The death record for son Dionisio gives Rosa's name as Rosa Gioia. The much-earlier marriage record for the same son names her as Rosa Abruzzo. She is also Rosa Abbruzzo in the records for daughter Giuseppa.
