Biography

Eugene was born in Maine in 1895. He was the son of Frederick Royce Ackley (1871–1948) and Lela Maker Dennison Ackley. (1873–1959)

He married Anna G. Coggins on April 18, 1921 in Nashua, New Hampshire. Their son, James William Ackley went Missing in Action during World War II when the submarine hit a mine and sunk.

Eugene began his Military career on 29 April 1919 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. He was a Private with the United States Army during WW1 with Battery F., 102nd F. A.

He passed away in 1952 and was buried in Saint Patricks Cemetery in Hudson, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA.
