Biography

Owen Adams, 25, and Liva Custer, 21, were married on 22 February 1910 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie county, Iowa. It was the first marriage for both parties. Owen was born about 1885, the son of Gilbert and Sarah (Jeffries) Adams. ^[1]

Their daughter Florence Marie Adams was born 3 April 1923 in Ingraham Mills, Iowa. ^[2]

Their son L. Harold Adams was born 15 January 1911 in Silver City, Mills, Iowa. ^[3]

In 1910, the newlywed Adams lived on their rented farm in Oak, Mills County, Iowa. The household included Owen Adams, 26, born in Missouri (parents b. MO), a farmer; and his wife of two months, Liva, 21, b. Iowa (parents b. IA).^[4]

In 1920, the Adams family lived on their farm in Ingraham, Mills, Iowa. The household included Owen Adams, 35, born in Missouri (parents b. Illinois), a farmer, who owned their property with a mortgage; his wife Liva, 31, b. Iowa (father b. IA; mother b. Wisc.); and their son Harold, 7, b. IA, in school.^[5]

In 1925, they lived in Mills, Mills County, Iowa. The household included Owen Adams, 40; his wife, Liva, 36; Harold, 13; and Florence, 1.^[6]

Owen and his wife Liva are buried in Silver City Cemetery, Silver City, Mills, Iowa. ^{[7] [8]}
