Obituaryck and Company, died of colon cancer Tuesday in his North Portland home. He was 74. A memorial service will be at 245pm Monday in Skyline Memorial Gardens, where he will be buried. Mr. Adams was born May 18, 1916, in Belgrade, Nebraska, and had lived in the Portland area 50 years. He worked for Sears for 34 years and had been president of the Sears Credit Union. He served in the Army from 1943 to 1948, and was a member of University Park Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Vera; son, Steven K. of Diamond Bar, California; sister, Betty Schipmann of Green Valley, Arizona; and two grandsons. The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the Hospice Visiting Nurse Association or University Park Methodist Church. ^[12]
