"Elias Maple b. 1813, OH, m. Barbara Adams, Oct. 29, 1833, Jefferson Co., OH, dau. of Thomas and Bathsheba (Hartley) Adams; b. 1816, OH. (OH court records give Barsheba instead of Bathsheba). 1850 Census, Knox Twp., Jefferson Co., OH: Elias Maple 37 b. OH, Barbara 34 b. OH, Lucinda 15 b. OH, Melvina 15 b. OH, Elias 11 b. OH, Mary 8 b. OH, Ezra 6 b. OH, Emmeline 4 b. OH, Robert 2 b. OH, Thomas 1 b. OH. (One source gave Barbara's name as Maria Barbara; the author has misplaced the item.
