The 1861 England and Wales Census shows Emily living with her mother and three siblings in Emery Down, Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[3] She was one year old.
At some point between the 1861 and 1871 Census Emily changed her surname to Veal, her mother's previous married name.
The 1871 England and Wales Census shows Emily living with her mother and four siblings in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[4] She was 11 years old.
The 1881 England and Wales Census shows Emily living in the household of James White in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[5] She was 21 years old and was working as a Servant.
In 1882 Emily married Walter William Chiverton in New Forest, Hampshire, England.[6]
The 1901 England and Wales Census shows the couple living in Bartram Road, Eling, Hampshire, England.[7] Emily was 41 years old.
Emily's husband Walter passed away in 1905 in Southampton, Hampshire, England. He was 47 years old.
The 1911 England and Wales Census shows Emily living in the household of George Cecil Vicary in Lymington, Hampshire, England.[8] She was 51 years old and was working as a Cook Domestic.
