Evelyn was born in Adelaide, South Australia during 1919. She is the daughter of Albert Adamson and Ada May McDonald. She passed away in South Australia during 2017.

Evelyn was born in Adelaide, South Australia on 23 October 1919.^[1] The following birth notice was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Express and Telegraph, on 28 October 1919:^[2]

ADAMSON (nee Ada McDonald).—On the 23rd October, at Narma Nursing- Home, South-terrace, to Jtr. and Mrs. Adamson—a daughter (Evelyn. May). Both well.

Evelyn married Arthur Edward Pearson in Unley, South Australia on 10 July 1940.^[3] The following 'Approaching Marriage' notice was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Advertiser, on 3 July 1940:^[4]

ADAMSON—PEARSON.—The marriage of Evelyn, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Adamson. of Unley, to Arthur, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Pearson, of Mile End. will be solemnised at the Salvation Army Citadel, Marion street. Unley, on Wednesday, the 10th of July, at 7.30 pm.

Evelyn died in South Australia on 28 April 2017 at the age of 97 years.^{[5] [6]}
