Services for William "Willie" Adcox, 75, Clinton and formerly of Brazil, who died at 7 pm Sunday in Vermillion County Hospital, will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home Burial will be in Bee Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 pm Tuesday. He was a retired miner and was employed with Standard Minerals at North Haute. Survivors include a son, Joe, Clinton, two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Taylor and Mrs. Sherie Straw, both of Clinton, and a sister, Mrs. Effie Amm, Clinton.

Joseph L. Adcox, 79, of Terre Haute and formerly of Clinton, died at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 17, 2015, in his residence. He was born Sept. 24, 1936, in Clinton, the son of William Adcox and Mertie Coots Adcox Jones. He was a retired glass glazer from Kasemeyer Glass and Mike's Motors. He was a member of the Local 144, Teamsters, an accomplished sportsman, Pope and Young Record Book, an enthusiastic golfer at Mark's Par Three Golf Course. Joseph was a proud U.S. Marine veteran.. On Dec. 27, 1954, he married Darlene Clarkson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Clarkson Adcox of Terre Haute; daughter, Ronda Keltz and her husband Michael of South Carolina; sons, Mike Adcox and his wife Elizabeth Cabrera Adcox of Deland, Fla., and Jerry B. Adcox and his wife Angie Adcox of Terre Haute, Ind.; grandchildren, Joseph and Steven Dust of Terre Haute, Amanda Ginel of Florida and Jason Wilcox of South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Jordan Beasley, Angel Wilcox, Jacob Wilcox and Jaden Perry; sister, Sherry Keck and her husband Kenny of Burlington, Iowa; brother-in-law, Robert Clarkson and his wife Linda of Terre Haute; and nieces and nephews, Maxine Taylor Rogers of Clinton, Kitty Taylor Modzelenski of New York, Tom Taylor of Virginia Beach, Sheila Straw Diaz of Iowa and Rob Clarkson of Clinton, Ind.. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Giovanini Funeral Home in Clinton, Ind., with the minister Pastor Paul Carey. Burial will be at a later date in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or Great Lakes Home Health Care Hospice.
