Isobell (or Isobella) Addison was the daughter of David Addison and Mary Thomson, She was born. c. 1851 Auchmithie (near Arbroath), Angus, Scotland

In the 1861 Census, Isobell Addison (10 scholar) was living at California Street, Montrose (Burgh), Angus, Scotland with her parents David Addison (43, Cooper) and Mary (Thomson) Addison (42), and her siblings, David Addison (15, Cooper), William Addison (7) scholar, Susan Addison (4) and Francis Addison (2, son).^[1]

She died 17 Mar 1866 (aged 15, fourth daughter of David Addison in Angus (or Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, Scotland), Scotland^[2]
