Biography

Catherine (Akins) Robertson was born in County Durham, England.

Catherine was born June 10th, 1901, in Throston, England to Sarah Akins.^[1][2] She married George Robertson in 1953 in the Durham South Eastern Registration District in Durham.^[3] Catherine died in March 1985 in the North Cleveland Registration District.^[4] She was interred March 5th at the West View Cemetery in Hartlepool

Research Notes

We suspect Catherine's spouse George Robertson is the same man that married her sister Ann in 1933. This is based on their marriage taking place three years after Ann's death in 1950. Can't draw to conclusions until marriage certificates are ordered from the GRO.
