Biography

William was born about 1803. He was of Springhill and Whitehill near Peterhead, Scotland.

He married Margaret Arbuthnot on 29 July 1833.[1]

They had at least three children.

Scotland Census Event Date 1841: Living with his wife, three children Gilbert, William and Susan, her sister Mary and five other individuals at Richmond, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Aged 35.

Occupation: SOLICITOR

Scotland Census Event Date 1881: Living with his wife in Broad Street, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Aged 78. Also in the household was 11 year old William Yule, 9 year old Hilda Yule and three servants.

Occupation: SOLICITOR & BANK AGENT

He died some time after 1881.
