Leslie was born in 1917. Son of Alexander Hartley Walton Alexander and Mildred Rimme Gortdon. [1]

On 17 August 1942 Leslie Hartley Alexander enlisted with the Australian Army, Service Number VX102476 and he served as a Sergeant with the 1st Australia Base Ord Deport (M T SPARES) Bandiana. [2]

Edna Sawyer married Leslie Hartley Alexander in 1942 in Footscray, Victoria. [3]

In 1949 Leslie Hartley Alexander (Metal Worker) and Edna Alexander (Home Duties) lived in Hertford Rd, Sunshine, Victoria. [4]

In 1963 Leslie Hartley Alexander (Driver) and Edna Alexander (Home Duties) lived in Croydon Rd, Croydon, Victoria. [5]
