Biography
The death occurred on Friday, 9th inst. at Adaminaby, of Mr. Robert George Allen, of Pleasant View. Deceased who was 68 years leaves a widow and three sons and two daughters, of whom Mr. E. O. Allen is the Forest Guard in this district, and Nurse Allen, engaged at local hospital, who left by train on Friday, just before the sad news was received, she being acquainted of the fact by phone at Greenethorpe. We join with others in extending our sympathy to both Mr. and Nurse Allen.[1]
