Madeline "Lena" A. Amelung was born 15 Dec 1874 in Saint Louis, St Louis City, Missouri to Christian John Amelung and Anna Louise Simpson.^[1][2] In June 1906, she married Ernest Slater in Saint Louis, St Louis City, Missouri.^[3]

Lina passed away on 21 Nov 1943 in Florissant, St Louis County, Missouri and was buried 24 Nov 1943 in Saint Peter's Cemetery, Normandy, St. Louis County, Missouri.^[1][2][4]
