Rudolph Martin Anderson was an American-born Canadian zoologist and explorer.[1]
Born in 1876 in Iowa, he was the son of John E. A. Anderson and Martha Johnson.[2] During the Spanish-American War, he served as a corporal with the 52nd Iowa Volunteer Infantry.
In 1913 he married Mae Belle Allstrand in Woodbury, Iowa.[3]
He died in 1961 in Ottawa, Ontario, and was buried at Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa.[4]
