Biography

Stephen was born on 9 October 1764 in Lancaster, Massachusetts. He was the son of Christian Angell and Hannah Bennett.^[1][2]

Stephen married Abigal Morton on 9 January 1799 in Huntington, Hampshire, Massachusetts, United States.^[3]

In the 1850 census Stephen (age 85) was in Huntington, Hampshire, Massachusetts, United States.^[4]

Stephen died (age 88y 10m) on 4 August 1853 in Norwich, Massachusetts.^[5] He was originally buried in Indian Hollow Cemetery, which is now underwater since the Knightsville dam was built. Many headstones were moved to Norwich Bridge cemetery. Most of Angell family, including Christian's children were buried there with headstones moved later. He is now in the Norwich Bridge Cemetery in Huntington, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.^[6]
