Frederick Arthur Anson was born on 6 November 1850.1 He was the son of Sir John William Hamilton Anson, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Catherine Pack.1 He married Agnes Roberts, daughter of James F. Roberts, on 23 February 1878.1 He died on 11 December 1913 at age 63. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He lived at Piraki, Akaroa, New Zealand.
