Robert ap Rhese (b. c. 1472 - d. 1555) was the son of Isaak ap Rhese and Joan Bray. His mother is sister of Sir Reginald Bray, K.G., K.B. (c. 1440-1503),.[1][2]

... descendants of Gruffydd ap Rhys (d. 1202), Prince of South Wales. Variations on the surname is as follows: Ap Rhese, Rhys, Reece and Price.
Marriage
Robert married twice to:
Joan (Jane) Otter (living 1522; d. bef. 1544), dau. of [William or John] Otter and Elizabeth (b. c. 1437, age 21 in 1458), d. & h. of John Drew (d. 1458).[3]

Robert's marriage to Joan Otter brought the Washingley estate into the family of ap Rhese. He is named in the will of Sir Reginald Bray, dated 05 Aug 1503, who states:
"I will that my nephew, Robert Isaak, son of my sister Joan Isaak, and Joan his wife, the daughter of John Otton, have an estate of the yearly value of xx l. to them and the heirs of their bodies."
