William Fraser Archibald was born March 28, 1886, the son of Daniel Fraser Archibald and Rebecca Jane Baker of Athol, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia[1][2][3]
On September 26, 1911, he married Ruth Emma Smith, born in Fenwick, Cumberland County, January 4, 1889, daughter of James and Lucy Smith[4].
William and Ruth moved to Moncton in 1913, where he worked for the Canadian National Railways, retiring as a conductor[3][5]
Jean Caroline Archibald b October 4, 1917[6], married Ralph "Dana" Keith[7], and lived in Moncton
Dorothy Helena Archibald b July 30 1920[8], she was working as a registered nurse at Saginaw Michigan in 1951
Constance Louise Archibald, b November 2, 1923. In June 28 1947 she married John Lloyd Dodsworth[9], and lived in Winnipeg (circa 1951)
Willaim died January 26, 1951[10], and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery, in Moncton. His obituary was published in the Halifax Chronicle Herald, January 27, 1951.
