Biography

Emma was born in 1882 the daughter of John Aspin and Margaret Barry.

In 1898 she was married to James Short. They couple lived in Waipipi and raised their family on the Awhitu Peninsula.

She passed away in 1954 and was buried at Waipipi Cemetery. Emma was 72 shen she died and was survived by her husband James and several children. She is believed to have died at Kitchener Road, Waiuku. Her death was registered in Waiuku.
