Biography
Hannah (Aston) Ambury was born in Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England.
Hannah was baptised on 26 January 1817 in Christchurch, Forest of Dean by parents John and Jane (nee Webb). The family lived at five Acres and John was a Collier. [1]
On 24 September 1836 Hannah married Edward Ambury in Newland. John Aston was a witness. [2]
In 1851 Edward and Hannah were living with 6 children in Joyford. Edward was a Labourer and Hannah was a Charwoman. [3]
Hannah lived a long life and died aged 82 in 1899. She was buried on 21 February 1899 in Christchurch, Forest of Dean. She had been living in Shortstanding. [4]
