Biography
Samuel Charles Atherton was born in 1865 in Maryborough, Victoria, Australia, the son of Charles Atherton and Mary Fowler.[1]
He married Rose Hancock in 1885 in Victoria.[2] Their children were:
- Leah Atherton (1886–1906)
- Victoria May Atherton (1888–1959)
- Cecil Robert Atherton (1890–1917)
- Dorothy Annie Atherton (1893–1937)
- Charles Thomas Atherton (1898–1984)
- John Raymond Atherton (1901–1971)
- Gladys Rose Atherton (1905–1980)
Samuel died on 27 Aug 1936 in Dunolly, Victoria.[3][4]
