Harold was born in Snydale, Yorkshire, 1875, [1] & baptised Harold Benson Atkin, 9 May 1875 Normanton, All Saints, Yorkshire the son of William Atkin & Mary Ann of Snydale. [2]
With siblings & parents in 1881 living in Phillip Road, Mirfield, Yorkshire. [3]
The marriage of Harold Benson Atkin & Lydia Atkin was registered in 1899, Sculcoates, Yorkshire. [4]
In 1901 with wife Lydia & daughter Doris living with sister in law Sarah Appleby in St. Hilda Street, Hull Yorkshire. [5]
