Biography
Joseph was born in Darley, 1802 & baptised Joseph Atkinson, 15 January 1802, Hampsthwaite, St. Thomas Of Canterbury, Yorkshire the son of Thomas Atkinson & Grace. [1]
Living in Swarcliffe, Birstwith, Yorkshire in 1841, with wife Nancy & children. He worked as a farmer[2]
With wife Nancy & children in 1851 living in Dall Bank, Bishop Thornton, Yorkshire. He was a farmer of 100 acres. [3]
