Biography
Chritopher was the 2nd son of Thomas Audley and Elizabeth Warren.
He married Katherine, daughter of John Lane of Orlingbury, Northamptonshire, widow of Francis Touthby of Touthby [now Tothby], Lincs. They had three children:
- Thomas Audley, baptized at Alford 5 May 1561. Buried at Grantham 1 June 1642. Will proved 21 June 1642. He married 1) Jane Bolles and 2) Judith Armstrong.
- Christopher Audley, baptized at Grantham, 2 Feb 1591/2 and buried there 17 May 1792.
- Arthur Audley, who died young and was buried at Grantham 17 June 1613.
Christopher passed away in 5 June 1575 and was buried in Boston, Lincs.[1]
