ELIZABETH “BETSY” AUSTIN, b. at Andover, 8 Jun 1773 daughter of Daniel Austin and Eunice Kimball;[1] d. at Andover, 13 Nov 1826;[2][3] m. at Andover, 13 Nov 1794,[4] JOHN AVERILL, b. at Andover, 16 Dec 1776 son of Peter and Deborah (Foster) Averill;[5] John d. at Andover, 7 Dec 1818.[6][7]
Betsey and John resided in Andover where John was a farmer.
John Averill did not leave a will and his estate entered probate 5 January 1819 with Betsey Averill as administratrix and Joseph Averill and Eleazer Putnam as sureties. Joseph Averill provided a statement that Elizabeth Averill only child of the deceased agreed with the assignment of administratrix.[8]
Betsey and John were parents of one child.
