Susannah Rebecca Avery the daughter of John Avery and Elizabeth Hewer was born in 1840 in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England. Susannah married Henry Thomas Law (1839 - 1920), the son of Thomas Law and Esther Dunn in 1891 in Stratton, Gloucestershire, England. .

Susannah Rebecca Avery was born in 1840 the only daughter of John and Elizabeth. Susannah was subsequently baptised on Friday, 9th October 1840.

1851 - Census: Monday, 31st March at Gloucester Street, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England (Aged 11). ^[2]

When the 1851 Census is taken Susannah is living with her widowed mother Elizabth, a pauper, and brother George, aged 22, a labourer. Susannah is attending school.

1891 - Marriage: Friday, 25th December at Parish Church, Stratton, Gloucestershire, England (Aged 52). ^[3][4][5]

The impending marriage of Henry Thomas Law, Widower of the Parish of Fairford to Susannah Rebecca Dance, Widow of the Parish of Stratton was announced on the , and to allow any objections to be made. Susannah subsequently married 53 year old Henry, a widower and labourer of Fairford at Stratton Parish Church on Christmas Day 1891. Henry was the son of Thomas Law , labourer and Esther Dunn. When Susannah married she was living at Stratton. Witnesses were: Joseph Wilson Soule; Esther Elizabeth Soule.
