Sarah Ayers was born 6 May 1696 in Ipswich, Massachusetts to Joseph and Margery Ayres[1][2] She married Thomas Hodgkins, and they had four children

- Thomas Hodgkins b: Bef 21 Jun 1724 in Ipswich, Essex, MA
- Abigail Hodgkins b: Bef 3 Jul 1726 in Ipswich, Essex, MA
- Mary Hodgkins b: Abt 1728
She died on 13 Jun 1728 "in childbed" in Ipswich.[3]
