John was born in 1765. He was the son of Timothy Babcock and Thankful Read. He passed away in 1806.

John Babcock (b. 26 Jul 1765 North Stonington; d. 24 Apr 1806). The record of his birth is in Stonington town records as 26 Jul 1766.[1]

Marriage John Babcock and Louisa Gilmore 18 Oct 1787 at North Stonington.[1]
