George (age 26), son of George Babington, married widow Eliza Wells (age 28) on 9 April 1849 at St Maurice, York, Yorkshire, ^{[1] [2]} and in 1851 they were lodgers in the household of Ann Wareham in Sheffield, Yorkshire. Eliza's daughter Mary Wells and their own daughter Sarah are also with them. ^[3]
