The 1901 Census lists Horace George Bailey as 3 years old, living with his parents Susanna Kate and William Henry Bailey in Newton Abbott, Devon. Also residing with them were his brother Clifford Henry (6), and sister Winifred May Jessie (5) and their grandmother Charlotte Butland Lephbridge (76).^[1]

Horace George Bailey married Nanny Roskelly Treloar on 11 November 1918 at Newton Abbott, Devon.^[2]

   I have a certified copy her birth certificate (dated 1948) saying she was born in Truro on 17th August 1894 to John Hocking Treloar & Annie Vine Treloar formerly Mitchell.

   She married Horace George Bailey on Nov 11th 1918 at Newton Abbot, Devon - I have their original Marriage certificate.

   They had 2 daughters - Hazel & Marjorie.

   Hazel married George Treen

   & had 2 Children - Barrington & Jacqueline

   Marjorie married Harry Knowles

   & had a single child - David.
