Ann Crawford Baillie was born on 5 February 1876 in Sydenham, Canterbury, New Zealand, daughter of Crawford Baillie (1830–1914) and Ann Rankin (1833–1893).[1]

Ann died on 19 October 1893 in the Whau River, Auckland, New Zealand.[2] She was in a boat that capsized along with Ann Baillie, James Drummond Baillie and a family friend named Isabelle Herd. John Rankin Baillie died trying to rescue them.[3] Ann was mentioned on a memorial in Waikumete Cemetery & Crematorium, Glen Eden, Auckland Council, Auckland, New Zealand with a death date of 19 October 1893.[4]
