Joseph Baker was the second husband of Amy the widow of John Gatewood, they married before 9 May 1710, Spotsylvania, Virginia. He was a wealthy merchant, and left large bequeaths to his step-children. He wrote his will 20 September 1720, it was probated 15 November 1720.[1][2]
